Greetings - You are interested in an exclusively online course in music appreciation. There is no text book - your course work is completely online and all assignments are submitted online. There are no on-campus or in-class meetings for the course, but there are daily reading assignments and quizzes that must be finished in the time alloted for each assignment to recieve credit.
For the course you will need to buy the OnMusic CD-Rom that contains all of the audio and video examples for the course which you will use on a daily basis. You must purchase this CD-Rom and register it and your email address before the first day of your summer class (May 17th - Summer 1, and June 14th - Summer 2) at www.connect4education.com. The Cd-Rom should be delivered in 3 to 4 days from the day you order it - do not attempt to buy a used CD-Rom from the bookstore- they will not work because the registration numbers in them have already been used and terminated.
To begin the course you will log on to www.Icubedonline.com and find the course materials and assignments - there are tutorials to walk you through the compuiter set-up and instructions for downloading the required software for the course.
Please contact me if you have any further questions.
Below is the syllabus for the course - Good Luck!!
