Lessons

The information of my lesson policies are as follows: Lessons are fifteen dollars for each thirty minute session. The fee for all lessons in a given month are due at the beginning of that month. These are non-refundable if the student cancels for any reason. If I need to cancel, you will be given a refund, or that payment will count towards a lesson in the next month. Students will need the following: a guitar. This is self explanitory. The main focus will be the acoustic guitar, more specifically, the classical method. If electric lessons are desired, the student will need an electric as well. A footstool will be needed. These can be found in most music stores and in music merchandise magazines. A metronome will need to be purchased and a music stand is highly recommended. The first book required is Fredrick Noad's Solo Guitar Playing 1. This book will cover reading music (not tab), techniques, and easy solo pieces. This book is in the classical method, but advances skill greatly in all guitar methods. As the student progresses, more books will be recommended. Any theory related questions can also be adressed in the lesson times. Any additional questions can be emailed to Kent at workmout@hotmail.com
