This page will give my comments of other clarinet studio pages on their content, load time, navagational appel, and eye candy!

 

University of Florida

Content: This site has links to the professor's information; information about the studio, tips on clarinet playing, their syllabus, university links, photo gallaries, and more.

Download Time: good...don't have to wait long.

Apperance: Simple, but you have to love the gator playing the clarinet!

Navigation: Easy to maneuver...every thing is right there.

Nebraska

Content: This site has links to faculty information, studio information and news, events, audition and scholarship information, and others.

Down Load Time: good...don't have to wait long.

Apperance: personally, not much of a fan. flashing music notes make me go boogie eyed.

Navigation: Easy to maneuver...all the links are right in front.

U of New Mexico

Content: Page comes right and states what it is for. Links for the professor, college of fine arts, the department link does not work, and a link for the international clarinet association.

Down Load Time: good...don't have to wait long.

Apperance: Plain.

Navigation: Easy to maneuver...don't have to search for links.

U of Tulsa

Content: Has a link to learn more about the prof, one to the syllabus, and one for contacting the studio for my info.

Down Load Time: good...don't have to wait long.

Apperance: can catch school spirit by looking at the colors. Simple, yet nice.

Navigation: LInks are easy to get to, but two do not work.

Miami U Oxford, Ohio

Content: There's a link to learn more information about the professor, the clarinet studio, aduitions, and there is a link for recordings and publications.

Down Load Time: so so...but not as quick as the others

Apperance: Huge photo of the prof, and that sticks out.

Navigation: Fairly easy...every thing is right in front...no need to search.

Illinois State

Content: Links to the prof, studio news, up coming events, and to the department, but the majority don't work.

Down Load Time: good...don't have to wait too long.

Apperance: very plain and simple.

Navigation: Easy...every thing is plainly stated...too bad the majority of the links don't work.

Ohio U.

Content: Has links to everything that you want to know.

Down Load Time: good...don't have to wait too long

Apperance: I found it neat how they made the differnt links the boarder around the page.

Navigation: A little confusing with the links in all different places.

Columbus State

Content: Has all that you would possibly want to know.

Down Load Time: adequate.

Apperance: Words every where, and a few good photos.

Navigation: Has in page links, to take you where ever the info is that you want to know.

Wisconsin-Stevens Point

Content: Does not have much about the clarinet studio, just talks about a recital. But there are links for different information for the school.

Down Load Time: not too bad.

Apperance: simple and dull.

Navigation: fairly easy, all the links are at the bottom.

Northern State-south dakota

Content: Found this to be unique. This page has photos and a short bio on the students in the studio.

Down Load Time: takes some time.

Apperance: eh...just a bunch of pics.

Navigation: There is a Back link that will take you to the prof page so you can find out more information. Other than that...you just scroll away.

Arkansas State

Content: Has links to clarinet studies, notes, bio's, recitals and other events...clarinet tips. It contains all that one would want to know.

Down Load Time: good...don't have to wait long.

Apperance: simple...gets the job done.

Navigation: Links are all in one place...no scrolling.

Western Mich

Content: Has info about the prof and adution requirements. There is also a useful link, link, that takes you to other links within the department.

Down Load Time: not too bad

Apperance: simple and to the point.

Navigation: easy...just have to scroll.

Wright State

Content: Has information about the studio, accomplishments of graduates, lists whom students had master classes with, and lists ensembles that the studio participated in. There are links to the cirriculum, faculty,calander, and applications.

Down Load Time: not too bad.

Apperance: sharp.

Navigation: fairly simple.

Texas Tech

Content: Has studio information, clarinet articles, calanders, and audition information.

Down Load Time: good...not too bad.

Apperance: very red and school-spirited.

Navigation: easy, straight-forward.

Wisconin-Milwaulkee

Content: Has links for all the differnet repatoire within the studio and links for important clarinet supplies and more.

Down Load Time: good.

Apperance: very plain...could use something more.

Navigation: easy...every thing is just right there.

Western Carolina U.

Content: On the side of the page, it has links to useful places for music, accessories, clarinet associations, and more. At the top, there are links for the studio, syllabus, calanders, and what not.

Down Load Time: good.

Apperance: simple...and the tabs are cool.

Navigation: easy enough...self explanatory.

Indiana U.

Content: It has info on policies, schedules, and office hours.

Down Load Time: good.

Apperance: rather dull...it could use some color.

Navigation: there are links to the different topics on the page, but there is no "back to top" link, so navigation is a little awkard.
