Class Grade 30 %
Quizzes (4 @ 10% each) 40 %
Midterm 15 %
Final 15 %
Total 100 %
Attendance will also be a factor in determination of your grade. Excused absence require a written excuse (from university clinic, a doctor, or other authenticated source). An allowance of two (2) unexcused absences will be allowed during the semester. Each additional unexcused absence above two (3 or more) will result in the lowering of your final letter grade by a letter. If Class Piano is a requirement for your degree, you must receive a grade of C or better.
