FALL/SPRING CONCERT ENSEMBLES
The Concert Ensembles are a collection of auditioned of
woodwind, brass and percussion performers that represent the finest musicians
at the University. These ensembles are scheduled in both Fall &
Spring Semester, and include both music majors and students majoring in
other disciplines. The groups perform the finest in wind and percussion
repertory at multiple concerts & recitals on and off campus during
the year. The various configurations of personnel include: symphonic
band, wind ensemble, chamber ensembles and other specialized media.
Four rehearsals are held each week. One hour academic credit per semester.

Concert Band is a non-auditioned group for
woodwind, brass and percussion performers that meets during the Spring
semester of each school year. Previous experience in high school band
is desirable. Non-music majors are encouraged to participate. The
group presents two or three concerts per semester featuring the finest
in band literature. Two one and one-half hour rehearsals are held each
week. One hour academic credit per semester. Conductor: Ken Haddix
