Dear Fellow Eastern Kentucky University Music Alumni:

Greetings!  It is with great pleasure that I accept the appointment as coordinator of the Eastern KY University Music Alumni Association.  As an EKU music alumni (BM '86, BME '90, MME '92, and Rank I of Educational Administration '98), central KY resident, former music educator, public school administrator, and spouse of an EKU music department faculty member, I attend many of the functions and presentations of the music department.  Due to this I believe I will have frequent opportunities to promote our alumni association, and with your assistance, open communications and build a relationship with faculty, staff, students and other alumnae in the EKU music department.

As we do have several alumnae from Ohio, David Burchfield has graciously agreed to serve as our Ohio coordinator.  Joe Allison, our EKU Director of Bands, Dave and I visualize this organization as not only social, but also as promoters/supporters of music scholarship at our alma mater.

I look forward to seeing you and talking with you either at some of our upcoming alumni events or vial e-mail or phone.
